Who is eligible for the Seriti Bursary?

You must be a South African citizen who has completed Matric, studying full-time at a recognised South African mainstream university or university of technology, and entering your 2nd, 3rd, 4th year or Honours in the funded year. You also need a minimum 60% overall average in your most recent year of study and must not be receiving any other bursary support. Preference is given to applicants from Seriti's local mining communities.

Which fields of study does the bursary cover?

The programme funds engineering and mining-related disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Mining and Environmental Engineering, Geology, Mine Surveying, and Ventilation & Occupational Hygiene Engineering (VOHE).
