Eligibility Requirements

  • South African citizen or permanent resident
  • Completed Matric with passes in Mathematics and Science
  • Studying full-time at a recognised South African university or university of technology
  • In second year of study or higher (first-year students are not funded)
  • Minimum overall academic average of 65%
  • Studying towards a BSc, BEng or BTech in an eligible field
