Eligibility Requirements

- ✓ Achieved a minimum overall average pass mark of 75% in Grade 12 (Matric)
- ✓ Accepted into an undergraduate qualification at an accredited public tertiary institution or TVET college in South Africa for the academic year being funded (the 2026 round required acceptance for 2026)
- ✓ Currently unemployed
- ✓ Preference given to households with annual income below R350,000, and to the 'missing middle' (household income between R350,000 and R600,000 per annum)
